This was a busy weekend. It started at Logan's soccer game in Orem. Here is a "signature" shot of Logan. Curled tongue while running. I hope he never "injures" himself doing that... Jamie said, he inherited this from his dad. And I noticed that she might be right! Here a few more shots of the Ranger's soccer game. Logan is #73.
Going for the gold!
Spectating and munching too...
I'm on it!
HOT TODAY!
Sittin' out...not our favorite thing...
There's that tongue, again!
I'm there!
So those were a few highlights from the game...now onto other things!

Soccer Granny pt.2 or Logan, the Human Bulldozer...
Well, today Logan only made FOUR GOALS. Their team won something like 7-0. So Logan has been playing well like this at every game. He is very competitive. And he likes to play soccer, that is for sure. Here are some of today's pics. I think Logan really will be great at this sport as he grows older. His daddy must be proud!
In the thick of things.
Down but soon up and running again.
Always right in the game.
Logan is in control of the ball. And he can really move!

Almost there! And below we see a goal in progress...
And it's yet another goal, a done deal and we have a very happy, happy camper! So where did he get those soccer genes?

Soccer Granny
So today was busy. I got up early and had to run to the grocery store because I forgot to buy the apples for my red cabbage. Spencer pulled 2 heads out of the garden for me to work on today. I freeze it in the fall and eat it the rest of the year long. So I finished the red cabbage about 10:45 and then changed and ran to the 11:00 soccer game. Logan's team is coached by Jake, so they should be pretty good! And they are. Here is the soccer action from today. I have to say I missed the first 2 games because I had to work both Saturdays previous to today. But Spencer went to those. And so here the pics:
The action is exciting. And Logan hates sitting out for a while. But that's the way it goes. So he cheers his team on very enthusiastically. No one likes to sit on the sidelines - its just no FUN!

Can you say woo-hoo!
Oooh wipe-out! Call 9-1-1!
Heading for the goal. Always in the thick of things!

Careful Logan! Another casualty!

Catchin' Up!
As I wrote in my last 2 entries, I was having a real struggle logging into my blog so that I could write something. Today it worked normally as it had in the past. I was glad because I didn't like the fact that I couldn't get into my own blog. Google must have had some techno problems going on. So now I will post some pictures in no particular order to show what we have been up to. And that is below:
Hard-workin' players, like Logan, get ouchies. We HATE ouchies, very, very much...
Logan's last soccer game was last week. Here he is, arms held high after the first goal
He's keeping track. Here is 2.
Here's 3!
Getting a little tangled with the ball...
Go Logie, go!
Hard-workin' players, like Logan, get ouchies. We HATE ouchies, very, very much...
But we don't let them break our spirit. And HOPEFULLY not our bones!
It was another great game and the last of the season!
Brecklyn had a ballet performance and did her usual great performance. It is the last one of the year.Pretty, prima ballerina!
I am soooo sorry I missed the evening performance...:(
The garden finally had one Sunny day without rain so that we could get the garden in...
Spence did a great job and Tyson helped on the first day they planted. Now the little seeds are popping up through the rocky soil of Highland.
And between the rainy days, we squeeze in a little baseball with Tyson!
Casey at the bat!
And that's all for today. But all in all, a busy active week for this ol' granny!
