It was a big day for Brecklyn today. Her Veteran's Day Essay was chosen to be read at the presentation just as Tyson's had been chosen, 4 years ago. She is standing here in the Hall of Honor where all the essays are posted. She is standing beneath hers. The Gold Star represents her relative who was a Veteran. It was her greatgrandfather, Arthur K. Nishimoto, Col, US Army 442nd Infantry Regiment 100th Battalion.

Below they are doing a number and saluting. They also used some sign language in their presentation.

There was a boy that said his greatgrandfather, Albert Nakashima served in the 442nd 100th Battalion as well. He presented right after Brecklyn. Jamie met his mom. So both of the young ladies above are 1/2 Japanese and their 2 children are 1/4. They were happy to meet one another.
Afterwards there were cookies and fruit in the student's classrooms.
And then we ran into Logan who wasn't feeling well :(
When we were done at school we picked up Grayson from preschool and took him to lunch. He is sure a really fun character. So it was a nice day!
Mac and cheese, corn and fries. And baked chicken. Boy's choice, can you tell? He loved it! And he was really sweet company. Love him, love them all! I have sweet grandkids!
