Well, tonight we celebrated my birthday, a little early because of schedules, etc. We went to the Olive garden for dinner and to gain some weight....
There was a lot of food and we ended up taking a bit home, Brian is eating it now as I write this!
The food and company were great!
Then we gathered at our house, although I wasn't sure at the time why and was a bit confused because we were having cake and ice cream on my actual birthday. Then I found out why...
I was getting a present, and a very special present, at that!
OK, so I got the most wonderful quilt in the world. The whole family went in in on this together and it was breathtaking for me. In these pictures it is a bit hard to see what it on the quilt, but Jamie got into my online albums and picked out pictures of different seasons of my life, my infancy, child, teenage, bride, mom and grandma stages and put those pictures as quilt squares and then everyone had their own square to write or draw on. Even now as I am writing about it, I am tearing up and my nose is starting to run... Anyways, I love it and I love all of them. It's beautiful and wonderful. I appreciate them all so much. Jamie did most of the labor with some help from Arden. Thanks Arden! Thanks everyone. What a very special birthday, one that I won't soon forget! I love you all!
