Parowan Gap Petroglyphs
About 11 miles from Parowan and just off the freeway is a place called Parowan Gap where the Indians made petroglyphs of how the sun came down to a point and now after many years, to widen the road, some glyphs were said by locals to have gone away. But we still saw a lot of them. This was a trade route in the earlier days of the mid 1800's.
